The Logistics department of ALCION, has as main function, plan, direct and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of the company’s materials and products.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Establish the distribution, procurement and transport policy of the production needed materials
- Foresee the necessities of raw materials and components
- Elaborate and apply stock control systems for procurement’s forward planning
- Design the prearrangement of the stocked materials and products
- Negotiate with suppliers, clients transport and logistic companies
- Continuous communication with our clients in respect to the open purchase orders
In order to achieve its goal, ALCION’s Logistic department, works in a personalized manner on each Project with the client, in order to define the supply strategy most suitable to their needs: Delivery management under request, Delivery management under programme (deliveries JIT) for our clients from the automobilist sector, to establish a security stock and/or a “suite fit consignation” for our clients necessities.
The Logistic department’s team, disposes of a complete management system ERP and of unlimited capacity Planner.
